    All,

Looking to see what people have used to replace their BIG airbag steering wheels. I know the early steering wheel is a go to, but I do like the Momo Mod. 07 or Prototipo.

    Momo Mod. 07
This wheel has a bit of dish and centre mark.

    Momo Prototipo
No dish and No centre mark

Does anyone have any experience of either of these wheels.

    Thanks.

I have a modd'd stock wheel on the car (and an original stock wheel in a closet). The one I keep on my car looks good and feels great, it's sort of "chunky" and has a great feel to it. Apologies for all the glare.

Agreed on the 360 steering wheel. It's plug and play, looks and feels great and is the best modification I've done to my 355.

That 360 wheel does look like a perfect option, actually. I'm always worried about the ancient airbag in my current wheel exploding in my face.

That original first generation airbag is one of the main reasons I wanted a different steering wheel. Those large airbags were responsible for a lot of injuries back when they were new and they can’t be any better now that they are over 20 years old.

I'd do the factory European non-airbag wheel, a 360 wheel with airbag, or a 348 wheel.

Just resurrecting this thread. Can someone confirm the resistor specs for installing a non-airbag wheel into an airbag car? I see 10 ohm mentioned?

I’ve read it's 3.3 ohm, but worth checking. I used a resistor but it stopped working, so pull the blub for now. Will source some more resistors and try again.

3.3 ohm 1/2 watt is what I found and makes sense. 10 ohm seemed high to me. My 964 similar, slightly lower resistance.
