2005 F-430 shifting issue

    It's probably been addressed before but I can't find the exact same issue on search. When I am coming to a stop, it auto downshifts but sometimes stays in 3rd after a complete stop. I paddle down a few times and it finally either goes to 2nd, then 1, or from 3rd to 1. Also sometimes while at a stoplight with my foot on the break it goes to neutral without the neutral tone? Anyone help here?

    need a diagnostic computer to see if there's any fault in TCU and other modules
    and your description is not very clear so can't help.
    seems like an actuator issue, just a guess
