Raise it a foot or two, chuck a v8 in it and it would be a great dune buggy. Just kidding.

It's just my opinion that this plate is not original, just like the stamps on other restored and Classiche certified cars. It would bother me on my car. It's something like a Ferrari badge on a Dino.

I took this pic of 8815 at the Automobiles Classiques Louis Vuitton Concours d'Elégance at Parc de Bagatelle in Paris on 9 September 1989, 33 years ago, in the typical re-sale red........

    Thank you Marcel (+ Cremonini & Simon K. ?)

I just love these kinds of photos showing stripped down, (almost) bare naked structural construction and details not accessible/visible in a fully assembled/clothed beautiful model.

To me, these are often far more interesting/intriguing/revealing than umpteen million photos of finished products.

Agree and the real beauty is in all the lovely details.

I take it that this ^^ was confirmed/documented by photographing each and every chassis section and/or tube during the recent restoration as soon as the car was disassembled to (almost) bare bones.
