I will never understand why people don't clean the carpet before they take pix. Same with the yellow wheel center covers that are not properly adjusted and the Cavallino is upside down. Simply not paying attention to details. Marcel Massini
You may be w lot further along than you think. I am still on the painted but not completed car but spoke wi5 my AD yesterday to finalize PF build and he said I am at 70 so car is done. Flying it over...stupid burn of $$ but so excited to have it for the end of summer.

Our photo arrived yesterday. Unusual in that the roof is down but also the wheels are ordered gold. There is some gold colouring visible but not sure whether they are due to be painted, the camera is not picking it up accurately or it’s a mistake? Anyhow, looks great. We have chosen a proper 1970’s interior spec with Daytona seats and Iroko/Tortora colouring. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks great , congrats, I hope you'll get it soon enough to enjoy the 4.5 sunny days you have each year in the UK
I will remark again (not to you as just using your pictures - thanks) the uselessness of the upper rear fender aero vents. What used to feed them were the rear window intakes which are gone on the GTS. A lot was documented by the designers about the air flow and downforce properties of them. They are fake and have no legit purpose on the GTS. Its not for exhausting the wheel well because the same back bumper vent is there serving that purpose as it did on the 812s. Its not fed by anything in the door as you can see in the picture with the driver door open. I have a Toyota with fake vents and it surprises me that no one else here has remarked about this anomaly. My guess is they are there due to cost and lazy design. Removing them would have made it look like the F12 again and the front vents would have had to go as well. The GTS just doesn't look like they put much if any effort in the design. IMO this hurts the future of the car as it was quite a long time and an expected big deal to release a Spider version of the mid-front V12.
