Car starts with a V12 bark on first twist of key, idles menacingly, all gauges work well. F-1 engages easily and shifts through each gear with authority. Car sounds fantastic, drives and handles extremely well with no squeaks. Acceleration is brutal with 620 hp and a 203mph top speed. The carbon ceramic brakes cinch to a halt without fade. Electronics and HVAC work beautifully. Part of 24 car collection, always stored in climate control garage, driven sparingly. Supremely well-serviced always, purchased new in California then sold via Mike Sheehan to its current Alabama owner 4 years ago. Most recently the subject of an intermediate service at Ferrari of Atlanta to get caught up and ready for next owner. Vehicle comes with original books and manuals in Ferrari binder, plus original service records, history and keys. This two-owner car is in superb condition befitting of the brand and associated care. This is how you want your next 599 to be: high options, low miles, impeccable maintenance and ready to go. A discerning and decisive buyer can own a V12 Ferrrari with a $321,000 build and minimal miles at the bottom of its investment curve for first $114,000. PM or email. What part of Alabama is this car located? This ticks all the boxes, and I close shortly on our new home construction from a construction loan to VA conventional.
Hi, I am interesting in your car ,please could I call you ,have some question about your car. Thank you V.B.
The car is in central Alabama, near Montgomery. I didn't completely follow the connection of the home loans (?) but let me know how to help with the car. Have another gentleman from South Carolina scheduling to drive in. Can meet you there or have owner meet you there. Thank you. Just PM'd you with phone number.
His building loan is highly expensive, he refers to completion and rolling it to a normal mortgage. GLWS...it looks like it's flying out the door.....
Gotcha, and thanks. Quite a few inquiries yesterday. As a potential double bonus, the most recent fluid/filter service also included new TPMS, plus alarm sensors, and various other intermediate service check/adjustments totalling $4400ish. As such, the car is still at Ferrari of Atlanta awaiting redelivery, so a person wanting a PPI has ample and immediate access to that being done. Just passing this along.
Perfect spec on a highly desirable car. Unbelievable value and at this price point I predict it will be sold this week. GLWS
Yes, sorry I wasn't a bit more descriptive but until I am closed on the VA loan from the construction loan, no new toys for me. I have been looking for a 599 for a while now, and not only is this somewhat local but appears to have been well cared for. Someone is getting an amazing car for an incredible price!
Have eventually reached back out to everyone who responded, some by PM some by calls over the last couple days. (If I missed you, I apologize. Please check PM and phone me, happy to speak about the car.) Another prospect already spoke to Ferrari of Atlanta Service Manager and SA, gotten all he needed to commit. We agreed to the car, then this morning a local FCA member presented a car to him which was obviously more convenient, thus he's pursuing that one. Items of note and questions about car: 1) "Is dash pulling away from glass?" Photos confirm 'no' and my inspection yielded same. Air bag/glove box area not puffy. See pics. 2) "Are buttons sticky?" The HVAC controls, window switch panels were fine to me, not sticky. In fact I thought they'd be 'de stickied'. (Just made up that word.) But the radio knobs - conceivably the easiest to correct seemed tacky, not sticky or smearing. So that's your call on what to do there. Personally I'd do it because I'm insane. 3) "How does the HGTE sound?" To my ear, glorious. I am not a fan of 'loud'. This exhaust is like the cold-start baffle is open all the time, and it has a significant high end howl. But it is NOT rattly, raspy, or coffee can stupid sounding; it just sounds tighter and more purposeful. The car is clean, with fresh 'Annual Service' of oil/filter, cabin filter, brake fluid flush and fill. Is coming up on drive belt service. (Or can be done at FoA if you like.) TPMS sensors new all around. Forgive me for not wading through the prior messages to find the answer... would you entertain trade plus cash offers? (1975 Dino 308 GT4 with 49,500 miles).
I'm sure it's a superb car, but looking to trim back and not add! Thanks for the knee-jerk temptation, hard to fight natural impulses (!) but hoping your Dino finds a great home. It will.
If only this car was in the UK!! Looks fantastic Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
It looks great! I'm currently searching for a 599 GTB in Rosso Corsa, but yours will make a "black car" guy very happy. Tell me more about the E-Type in the background of the last photo...
I am an observant lurker planning a future 599 purchase. (but not a Black car, no matter how tempting) Appears to be a very respectable opportunity. One detail that would be nice to see would be the window sticker.
And for those who may be interested also, here you go. Thanks for the suggestion. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can’t understand why this hasn’t sold yet either. The price is insanely good! I’ve been closely watching the market very closely and this looks like a great car at a ridiculous price. jim
Thanks very much for the positive "condition-to-value" comments. I agree, this is a buy based on current market and averages. Please know that it's only been on the market 13 days, so not exactly a market prune. Yet I've fielded a number of serious calls, informed queries, tire-kickers and the inevitable pretenders who are of course on their way to the bank when they apparently just evaporate. Yet to allay any time-based concerns that "something must be wrong", I can assure you, it's not. Since you'd expect me to say that (!), the car is currently getting a version of a PPI at Ferrari of Atlanta with a quite serious prospect/F Chat member who is rightfully first in line following its inspection. There is a second purchaser right behind him. Thus far, Mr. First in Line has spoken to me, the technician who last serviced it, the owner (whom I'm helping), received a fresh CarFax, gotten records detailing ownership history and filling in of service gaps. This stuff is sometimes decided quickly (as maybe I've done when buying, occasionally to my detriment) and sometimes quite deliberately and analytically. That's the case now. I respect this as we all come into ownership through different paths. So be it. Yet I must say how amazed I've been at the fringe-nibbling low ballers who throw out "offers" hoping you'll thank them and beg for their scarcely liquid check. I've had three such so far, with generally entertaining results. I don't mean to make light of opportunity seekers - lord knows I've been there too - but there are unwritten rules of engagement at this level and rudeness isn't among them. Anyway, I feel quite comfortable with the car and its final white glove inspection on Monday. Yet as with all things, we shall see. Thanks again for the support and positivity.
13 days....that blows my mind...seems longer than that! I'm very close to purchasing a 599 and I can say without a doubt that this price is amazing! I would've been all over this one, but a black dash top is mandatory for me. (NOT a slam on this car at all!!) Good luck with the sale. Someone will get a great deal on this 599. Can't wait to hear who the FChatter is. Jim
Lovely car, but as a point of accuracy are you sure those are “Daytona Seats”? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
