Front lift system

I would scrape the plastic apron beneath the Carrera s all the time. Never scraped the spider.

 

Is the front end clearance on the Speciale exactly the same as on the Italia?

 

Sorry to bump this thread. Does anyone know if the clearance is the same for the 488? Is it 6.5 inches when there is no lift?

 

6.5? I thought ground clearance on 488 gtb was around 4 inches (10.5 cm).

 

Dont know the exact clearance but in my years of ownership and over 5000 miles In my 488, I never needed to use a lift. The car sits way too high!

 

I have the F8, rarely use the lift, but when I have used it...life saving! It was pricey but super worth it.

i dont think the car needs it as it sits like an SUV in stock form. you can literally put a fist between the fender and tire. It is nice to have after you are lowered though. The problem isn't so much the distance between the bumper and ground... its that the nose sticks out so out ahead of the wheels (front overhang).

 

I’ll measure mine in the morning for you. I do not have the lift and have not needed it. My 2018 Porsche gt3 had the lift and I never needed it either.

 

Yes nose overhang is what I'm worried about.

Got this from the architects but not clear if the nose will touch or not.
