I remember a orange 71 LS6 for sale, at Kudelka's Cars (Houston), in the early 1980's. I believe it was priced approx $15K ask. Not exactly a high school type of vehicle.
Just curious. You said about 2000 miles per year. Also the Vetts very different from the Mclarnes. What type of driving are you planning on doing? Just seems like each group of cars would be used very differently.
I’ve owned a couple c3 vettes spend you money somewhere else! 2000 miles are rough miles and that many miles on a really nice kill the price. Not sure about the Mclaren but there are lots better choices Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The photo above is my current line up of cars The C3 is a 1969 l-89 big block one of 390 for that year. I am completely happy with it. As far as the Mclaren, best super car I have owned. If you do a little research, its hard to beat the 675lt.
