On the 90 cabriolet is there supposed to be a clamp around the Air intake where it attaches to the body. Mine is easily dislodged and I found it partially off after a drive today. Will that make the idle rough as well?

I thought there were screws holding it in. Either way, it shouldn't affect the mixture.

I’m wondering if they took it off to get my furl tank out and never replaced gasket or screw. Manual doesn’t show screws but shows gasket for coupe. Also found leak under power steering oil reservoir I think one hose is also loose and dripping on manifold. Smoking on start up

My 1990 Cabrio has a rubber ring around each end of the big air intake tube, just a press fit, no screws. Your rubber ring may have cracked or hardened after 30 years of engine heat, creating a loose fit. A dryer vent clamp would secure it. Painted black.
