Odd to have side repeaters in the front wings on a LHD Euro car? Was this car in the UK at some point?
It was not. Delivered new to Germany. Since 1975 in Switzerland. Original color Marrone Colorado. New Swiss owner wanted it Blu Scuro. #14399. Marcel Massini
Switzerland today. Was yellow until recently but will soon go back to original Blu Sera 106-A-18. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Will be totally and completely ground-up restored, but first some body stuff needs to be adressed. Marcel Massini
Thanks for clarifying. Seeing what appears to be the dash, perhaps rear & quarter glass and suspension still in place gave an impression of less than appropriately disassembled car if a complete restoration was the objective.
Just today! Picked up my 1970 Plexi after complete engine rebuild and more. Can’t wait to rack up the miles! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Haha thanks! Already drove 160kms today on some lovely back roads. Life is good! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Ferrari shop drove about 360km with break in oil. I’m driving the next 650km. Max 4500 rpm and lots of back roads with frequent gear changes and changes in rpm. Then back to the shop for replacing the oil with regular oil. Then from 1000-3000 kms a max of 5500 rpm. Also better to do back roads with frequent rev changes. From 3000-5000 kms gradually increasing the max to 6800 rpm. Replace oil at 5000kms and once more at 10000 kms. Am hoping that some nice events are still going ahead and may take her down to the South of France. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
is there any truth to the old idea that going down hills under load helps pull oil to the top of the cylinders via the vacuum to help flush out the motor?
