It will end in tears, just like Jose Mourinho at Tottenham hotspurs.

I just don't understand it. He spend so long driving at the very back of the field in a mclaren, why return and do exactly the same? Tell Mercedes you'll drive for 50K per point in place of Hamilton. Job done. At the front of the field and bag an easy championship if not 2.

Alonso will fit Renault perfectly: they are both desperate.

Mercedes certainly don't need him !!

Why would they want him? They could have got him any time over the last few years. They keep stringing Bottas along on one year contracts, he could have been hired long ago. What does he bring that Hamilton doesn't? He is at best equal to Lewis, not better. He doesn't have anywhere near the reach as a personality for that brand that Hamilton does. Hamilton is better known, which is good for Merc, outside of F1. And most importantly he's seen as a difficult to work with ****** by many up and down the paddock while Hamilton fits with the team. Don't try and say Hamilton wont have him as a team mate, Hamilton doesn't block people like certain other drivers do. From what I've read over the years, while they may not be bosom buddies, they are fine with each other in a post McLaren world where they both agree it was Ron D. who was the cause of friction between them.

"at best equal to Lewis''. Lol
"lewis doesn't block others" Oh please!

True, Lewis is a brand. The biggest in F1 at the moment. But personality? Dressing up like a clown isn't a personality.

he's just desperate. I feel the sport has moved on..Norris, Russell, Shaarl, etc..

I'm really not sure what he's trying to achieve here..

No one wants him actually. Not Ferrari, Not Red Bull, Not Mclaren, Not Mercedes.
