perhaps it will increase the value of the factory manual cars, relatively. In Ferrari world, factory originality is so important for value. And this will draw attention to the potential originals.
Converted Daytona spiders arguably made the real things more valuable. 575s with aftermarket suspension mods don’t have the desirability of real FHP/HGTC. You can make a 512 TR faster than a F512M but M values are still way up there.

Ferrari values are not based on reason. You want to make a F12 TdF yourself? Buy a 812 and add semi slick tyres and presto, probably better than a TdF, but still less than half the value.

Same with the 430 manual conversions. As good as, maybe, but makes the originals even more of a thing. Maybe

I agree to some extent, just not sure how much given the relatively large number of originals. However, it does highlight the demand, which will drive the price for the originals with certain buyers. “They are so highly sought after and a thrill to drive, many were converted.”

My opinion is that most (certainly not all) buyers in the future will want originals, as sales prices for heavily modified cars (in other ways) have already shown.

Disclaimer: I own an original 6mt spider and my views may not be entirely impartial.

Value of a mass produced model like the F430 - regardless of gearbox - will likely become academic over the next 10-15 years as social engineering by governments seeks to make the rest of the population look negativity on anything with an engine, and EVs become the norm.

Enjoy these things whilst you can.

The good thing about the swapped cars they will be driven.

vs the factory gated cars become gar queens due to the f car mlg depreciation.

Said that a few weeks back also. You wanna enjoy the 3 pedal 430 do a converted one.
Most origs will be garage queens cause owners will worry about depreciation.

I received my car a couple of weeks back and the short time I drove it was great. Unfortunately, I had to take it to the local shop as part of the aluminum top frame broke. Should be repaired and back this week. I'll post a long review after I've driven it a bit more. But, suffice it to say, I love it!

Was the top frame disturbed during the conversion?

No...I don't think they even let the top down. First time lowering it I heard a pop and the cover wouldn't close. Closer exam showed the driver's corner piece broke entirely. Several threads on here about it. My local shop has welded it rather than replacing the piece...much cheaper and supposedly just as effective.

Does not indicate that it is. 2008, low milage, but a Coupe this time. Will be very interesting to follow. If this one rings the bell I think a lot of them are going to be for sale soon.
