    Lucky you. I spent most of '83 in (civic duty/mandatory) defense training, only dreaming about driving cool vintage cars and engaging in close encounters with opposite gender. :rolleyes:

    The 2nd place Ferrari 330 P4 s/n 0858 of Parkes/Scarfiotti is chased by the Chaparral 2F of Spence/Hill on the banking
    at the 1967 Monza 1000km. The Ferrari Dino 206 S s/n 016 of Casoni/Shangri-La lies abandoned at the foot of the banking.

    Same thing happened to 365 GTB 14889GT at '73 LeMans, but on the right side. Can't figure out how to upload pix from my new computer. Argh!

    These powerful sports racers must have been a handful on that circuit. I have some original Targa photos somewhere, will see if I can locate them.
