What do you recommend as replacement exhaust headers for the notoriously failure prone stock headers in the 360? Is Fab Speed the best or are there others that are reliable? Photos? Sound bites?
I just went through the same issue. Fabspeed headers and high flow cats. Keep the old headers in your attic and never look back.
Any CEL with the high flow cats? I have Fabspeed headers on mine, but have contemplated about the cats. Don't want to deal with CEL. Also any performance or sound gains with the HFC?
Hey Guys! Glad to hear you love the headers and cats. Please feel free to PM us about anything what so ever regarding products!

Any time you replace the headers on the 360 you will have CEL issues. There are MANY long threads on this subject.
I installed top speed headers on 2001 modena and had a cat eff cel after 3-5 cold starts. installed the fat daddies 02 mini cat extenders... no cel since w over 1200 miles.
If your not looking for a cheap replacement and the best OEM-Replacement aftermarket manifold Tubi Style is a great choice. These come encased in a heat shield to help keep the engine temps down so you don't have to go look for a blanket or get them coated. Take a look at the photo below for a better idea. Image Unavailable, Please Login I currently have these in stock and ready to ship stateside so feel free to shoot me a PM if your interested.
What brand ceramic coating is regarded as the best? I'm looking to go the ceramic route instead of the blankets.
Top speed are domestic car cheap. If you don’t like them at that price just sell them. Almost free if you diy. just be prepared for a little machine work if there was a bad fab day in chengdoo
is top speed same as top gear headers? https://www.ebay.com/itm/Ferrari-360-F360-100-Stainless-Steel-High-Flow-Sports-Sound-Exhaust-Headers/113889850876?fits=Model%3A360%7CMake%3AFerrari&hash=item1a845d35fc:gqAAAOSwb~1dfrdm
Whats odd is i had no problem spending the money on my 355, but that was 18 yrs ago Who am I kidding- id buy the tubis
This too has a ton of threads. None of them are really street car kind of reliability. Think heat damage to the alternator & cabling, as well as accelerated aging of all wires, plastic, and rubber parts in the engine bay. The "best" is probably a set of metal insulating wraps that one of the guys had fabricated, there is a thread on that too. They look amazing (much like the Tubi) and they work great. There are a few threads where members tracked temps inside the engine bay with different configurations.
I have Tubi’s on my F430 and couldn’t be happier. A bit more difficult to install, but worth it. I wanted OEM look, especially being in Ca, and they are made from Inconel 625. The only downside is that they come only with the air rail as part of the flange casting. I just cut it off and welded it up for a cleaner look instead of capping it. Flange was perfectly flat. They match the factory heat shields and the Ferrari/Tubi sport exhaust mufflers as well. Looks OEM. View attachment 2973220 Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I tested hiflo cats w my headers and cs muffler and it was too loud for my world. But it sounded nice
Power is up for sure by seat of pants and that my tires spin easier, but I can’t quantify. Power delivery is smooth and improvements can be felt down low as well as at high RPM. Sounds awesome to me, louder than stock, not excessive by any means. I changed stock muffler to Ferrari sport exhaust at the same time so it’s hard to tell what had more influence. It’s not that high pitch F1 sound some are after, it sounds like a more aggressive Ferrari production car. Tubi and Ferrari are like Ben and Jerry. They know Ferrari best, they develop prototype exhaust systems, they develop race exhaust systems. It’s yet another reason I chose them. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
