    i'm not sure what photos your looking at but they're extremely similar from the side view and overall size, of course the interior is different, many on this very thread and other Roma threads have recognized this to the DB11 and Vantage, i'm not criticizing the Roma, just stating the obvious, either way DB11 better looking IMO,,

    Everyone sees things differently but It reads of “old school” Ferrari to me. 550, 612, older and honestly, imho, more graceful looking Ferrari’s. And on the Aston front. The vantage is horrific looking...again imho...looks like a gamer designed. I think it’s an absolute mess. The db11 is very pretty but more feminine to me...and that’s a compliment but not what I am looking for. The Roma is a perfect balance, and through my eye, clearly the best looking of the three...why I have one on order and not at the Aston lot. Great news is there are cars for people they want an Aston and there are cars for people that want a Ferrari.

    i agree, the Vantage is a mess, however to own a DB11 and a Roma, imo would be crazy, Astons drop like a rock in value, mines lost 50% in 18 months, its terrible, but i'm seriously considering taking that kind of hit for a Roma fabric top when available,,,

    I think we are all taking good hits these days which is unfortunate. I do think the db11 is a beautiful car and agree that would make a fantastic garage but I am hoping (I know futile) that they would drop a 12 in the Roma.

    It looks so elegant in white and without shields, the finest looking Ferrari in the post pininfarina era in my opinion.

    If only it had a V12 and open gated manual shift...such dreams belong in a different era

    Not necessarily. Well, maybe not gated manual. But I think with 812 Superfast Ferrari overdid the design. Generally, people liked the design of F12berlinetta more. Maybe we see something similar to Roma in the next V12 GT. I'm sure they will use the shark shaped nose on other models as well and maybe heading to more minimalistic design on V12 line, while going extreme with V8 on SF90 Stradale.

    Had to come back to this thread to see more pics of the Roma. After revisiting all the models of Ferrari over and over and over again, I just have to say that other than the lines of the 458/488, really no other models really exudes this type of elegance like the Roma. Furthermore to be honest, I think Ferrari did a better job than Aston Martin in terms of creating that "Aston Martin" look. Also, I really love the job Ferrari did on the interior...I don't remember ever seeing any interior that has such high tech or creature comforts coming from Ferrari.

    I think it’s great that Ferrari is catering to different tastes and preferences. Personally, I’d take an 812 or Pista anyday over the Roma, and think the Roma’s exterior lines are derivative and the central chunky, stuck-on iPad is anything but elegant. I also believe engine performance and road handling capabilities should trump creature comforts in a Ferrari, but the beauty is there are different Ferraris for different priorities and interests. Lately, I find myself more interested in the older models.

    When the F12 was introduced it was painted the matte finish alluminium opaco. This new color is the lucida (shiny) version of that color.

    um, no. Still looks like dog doo. Just cuz you're getting 'used' to it, doesn't mean it now looks like a proper Ferrari grill. :)
