Considering they were made in such low numbers I'm shocked how many are for sale. A good deal of them have been for sale for 9 months or longer with multiple price drops. I like them so much more than the current Ferraris but I think the off warranty maintenance issues put a lot of people off, but I believe some of them are CPO. They are amazing cars.

1000 in the US Coupe/Spider combined and about 35ish total for sale. Sounds about right doesn’t it? By the way, about 300 or so 488’s for sale.

Mclaren at the moment is suffering from a lack of differentiation among models and the fact that their base wants the new model. The 600 LT hurt the 675 LT. The 720S hurt the 675 LT. I think at $200k the 675 may be the greatest driving car on the market by some margin.

Correction, way less than 300 combined in the US. My mistake. Truly sorry for the fake news.

675LT looks very tempting right now as a long term keeper. The 720 is a completely different car that does everything very very well.

that’s what people who own both say. 720S is better in every single way except the excitement and feel you get while driving the car. The Car Guys (a British YouTube channel) called their 675LT the modern day F40 (which they also own). Not sure praise gets higher than that.

I've looked at lease takeovers through ALLY which exclusively finances Mclaren leases. Apparently, lease transfer with Ally can only occur if the car is registered back in the same state. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm starting to look more at these 720s. Next generation will be AWD hybrids.

yeah right. I can't decipher any of this lease stuff. way over my head. I have always paid cash or put down a nice chunk and got a small loan for the rest. Way less messy.

For reference, a friend of mine just leased a new 720S Spider (papaya spark amazing color), 90K down 4100/month (tax in, CAD$), 24 months and 10k kilometre allowance.

    What an amazing car.

There's no way anyone would put $90k down on a lease, that's the depreciation hit if you bought with no negotiation, so why would anyone lease after putting down such a large sum??. They were going for about 25% off MSRP before the pandemic, hit. The supply is a much tighter now with production halted.

There's 174 for sale on AT. Don't think there is a supply problem. Friend and member on here got a new spider (loaded) that makes the 15K down, 2600 a month look outrageously expensive!

it's different in Canada. 3 dealers all owned by same dealer principle. they try and keep the market inflated. but secondary cars bring it down to a degree...

would love to have 15k down/2500 per month here. curious what the 'smoking' deal looked like...

Agreed about the used market, currently its true with all the big exotics. But we're talking about lease deals which rely on new car supplies, and that is strained.

Not gone anywhere - just checking the thread weekly without logging in. Not much else happening right now.

And I'll use the opportunity to provide an update:

    Lease starting miles: 101
    Current miles: ~2850
    Miles remaining: ~16,733 (~520 miles a month)
Payments remaining: 32 (after one in Aug 2020).
    Monthly payment: $1975 + tax

Asking $20K cash + lease transfer (makes it $2600 / month + tax effective)

Current buy out is $235K + taxes.
