Yeah, I dunno what gave me that idea. Maybe selling multiple cars on MSO with delivery miles. I don’t care but it seems like this listing should be in the commercial section... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think No Radio is cool and old school. Most Ferraris never used to come with radios, they were all dealer installed. High performance cars don't need radios. Think L-88 Corvette. I wish Ferrari would make all of their high performance upgrades No Radio, No Suspension Lifter, No Convenience/Luxury Options.
You have that choice when you spec a Pista. However,if they want to sell across the spectrum of potential buyers they need the flexibility of offering options.
They could not offer any radios or convenience options and they would still sell every one they built. JMHO
Ferrari can easily make you one of those. Radio and Suspension Lifter are options, not mandatory. Not sure what other options would be considered "Convenience/Luxury" in a Pista.
For sure the radio and heater delete things were near on muscle cars... As pretty much people were collecting them and not driving them. Which is funny because the deletion of them was supposed to make for a better driving experience. But... Not it's just used like postage stamp collectors and stay in a building. (I'm guilty of this) Modern cars people want them to work. There was a la Ferrari accidentally built without a radio and the price Ferrari wants to put one in could buy you a condo. Ac and radio delete on.porsches and Ferraris and even the gt350s etc... All suffer when they don't have them. Also when you have 700 HP... Losing 20 pounds of a radio is daily insignificant. Again if you want a car that's good on the track buy a challenge car or buy a cup car. Don't pretend your gt3rs is a track car.
At one time I heard retail price on a car is 8x actual incremental cost of a components. $200 cost item being marked up to $1300 sounds like a bargain, especially if it’s attached to a Ferrari.
Question - you state “2020” Pista yet your MSRP before options lists $345,300? It is my understanding that $345,300 is the 2019 MSRP and 2020’s have been raised to $353,300 for no reason other than Ferrari can. So is it a 2020 or a 2019?
