    Just found out I need to do an engine out on my 3.2 Mondial. Anybody have a time estimate or approximate cost of a shop doing it. I’m debating whether to do it myself or have a shop do it.

    Why engine out ? 3.2 you can do almost everything engine in !

    Yes, but that does not mean you can do it well with the engine in. The access to the front side is severely limited and many of the hoses are tucked into places that would be much more accessible with engine out. The 30 years of grime, dirt, and crap collected inside the engine bay will finally be cleaned up. \

    An engine removal and installation on a Mondial is 16 hours in and out if you have a lift. Double that for your first time.
