I have the 20” challenge off of a 599 (wider rear rims) and have 15mm spacers on rear, and none in front. Image Unavailable, Please Login

How often do you tighten your spacers?

Is that a concern? I don't use spacers on my Ferrari, but do on my BMWs....one for over 15 years and I periodically recheck torque with a calibrated wrench, and have never experienced any loosening over time/miles. I have had them on my E39 540 M-Sport for over 200,000 miles.

I've always heard you should check torque every 500 miles on high performance cars, which seems like a pain.

Might be internet rumor. I don't even think the spacer manufacturers recommend that. Maybe after installation a recheck is in order, but that is all.

My BMW is a daily driver, so I recheck torque within a couple hundred miles anytime the wheels come off, even on my Ferrari that does not have spacers.
Then, I recheck wheel bolt torque on my BMW at every oil and filter change (7500 miles). I have never experienced any loosening with spacers...(I prefer the H&R brand).

BTW, I can proudly say my BMW with M62TU engine has over 321,500 miles as of today, never been rebuilt...just oil and filter changes every 7500 miles since new.

That's totally cool, my Mercedes S550 has 200K with just regular service.
