    Looks tuff,have they changed the V8 for a diesel?
    Hope they've a looooong range tank otherwise....likewise if it's dualfuel,they won't get gas north or west of Cairns or Mareeba/Atherton.
    Easy mechanics if anything happens and specialists all the way to Cairns.

    Smart move,should get about 25-30MPG depending on gearing,the wheels and tyres could bugger that up a bit.

    Coils all round, from ARB I believe. Plus upgraded axles and steering. The young bloke who owns and built the car (they've been mates since high school) is an engineer and knows his stuff. I have much more faith in him than my son!

    My eldest has an '00 Defender dualcab after having a '94 Def....all same as your son's mate,can't stop fuiking around with it.....wonder where they get it all from??

    It’s not the ugliest car I’ve ever seen, but it’s certainly not pretty.
    Why does it have holes in the doors? And what on earth does pictures of it making a lot of dust prove? Is that supposed to convey an image of ‘tough 4wd workhorse’ ?
