Red with red roof. Pure class.
This little beauty thought he would hitch a ride, but met with an unfortunate end. I suppose there are worse ways to die than in the grill of a Ferrari F40. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Why the hell does the only full yellow LaF (So far, at least from what I've seen) have black wheels. My dream laf would be Full Giallo modena (Never been a fan of the creamy triplo strato) + Silver wheels
This has been discussed frequently on this thread. I share your sentiments. For some particular reason, it seems a considerable amount of those who had the privilege of ordering a LaFerrari seemed to have lost all sense of taste. I'm sorry to say that I rarely come across a beautiful LaFerrari. If not awful black wheels, they have other ridiculous livery choices. I actually blame Ferrari more than the owners. At least in the past, the factory protected the brand by allowing very little customization, particularly of their flagship cars. They did rein in most of this with the Aperta, though I do believe black wheels are still not uncommon on them as well, sadly. I still believe the Geneva reveal car was the best.
Obviously to each his/her own, but I am with you. Just picked up a Rosso F1 2007 LAF that had black wheels. Have since ordered two sets of the silver wheels. Silver wheels are very difficult to find, but once I did, figured I would snag them both. I just love a red ferrari with silver wheels!
Thanks for the update, and congratulations on the new ride. I think I know the Rosso F1 2007 that you are talking about, and it is a nice vehicle. I'm totally with you on the whole black rim finish. I've never bought a car with black rims, and don't ever plan to. Or at least if I do, it will be one of the first things I change on it. On the LaF, I was lead to believe it is quite easy to transform the black wheels to a silver finish. Was this a route you considered, versus buying an entirely new set of originally silver rims?
I completely appreciate anyone who changes their black rims to silver. Clearly, I’m not a black rims fan. Still, I’m a purist. The big issue for me is altering a car from its original factory spec, particularly a flagship like a LaFerrari.
For me, this is how it should be. I’m more than fine with other colors as well, but all with silver wheels. Though not my taste, I can also appreciate some with smoked or gold wheels, but not black. I’m also fine with body color roofs, but I prefer the black on the LaFerrari. Wanted to preserve the black ones since they were part of original configuration. Plus I have this stupid habit of buying a second set of wheels with every car i buy. In this case I’ll have three . I don’t keep things very long although hope to keep this one. Figured down the road having both OEM wheel colors and a second battery charger can’t hurt. Will post once it arrives in another week or so.
I'm totally with you on all counts. Silver wheels always. And usually single-tone body color, but on the LaF, I agree that the black two-tone roof looks very elegant. Great minds...
Well noted. There is something to be said about preserving the purity of the original configuration. Look forward to the pictures when the vehicle arrives - please do post them with the sliver finished mounted.
The car seems to have been created with that 'black roof' look in mind. Most seem to follow that path and as a result the all red car seems a bit low rent by comparison. There is no redemption for black wheels though! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are the FXXK wheels option for the Laferrari identical to the original FXXK wheels? They seem to be one or two size smaller.
Ironic, given that I was just saying how much I love the Geneva launch car and how I never see LaFerrari’s in that livery, I came across this listing today. Seems precise, right down to the red mirrors. https://www.cncexotics.com/details-2014-ferrari-laferrari-2dr_coupe-used-laferrari.html
