Has anyone tried to re-spray the interior silver parts? Mine are all scratched up and need some love...

I had my silver interior pieces ceramic coated in a dark graphite colour to modernise the interior. Have seen others that have been powder coated as well.
I think these finishes would hold up a bit better than painting.

Wow - that looks fantastic. I was just going to redo in the same colour but now I’m thinking...

I'd go Carbon for the interior, but getting it ceramic coated like that is great alternative too!

If going original color be sure to compare the paint price vs purchasing a used unit w good paint. These are all over eBay used.

I had mine powder coated in a color called Matte Porsche Silver. It’s almost an exact match to the original color and finished. The color is just slightly lighter and the finish is a little bit smoother now. It’s actually easier to keep clean. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I would think this is a very DIY friendly project. Find a good krylon metallic match and you could do it in an afternoon. Screw it up? Wipe it down and paint it again.

When it was time for me to get my pieces resprayed, I called several shops. Only Premier (in L.A.) knew the difference between the early model rough light silver finish and the late model smooth darker silver finish. I sent them my center console (which had a huge gouge in it from the previous owner) on Monday and it was back on my doorstep that Friday. Looks perfect. Suprisingly good price as well!

This was literally 15 years ago. You can do a search on Premier. They are the "Premier" Ferrari body shop in the country. They have one of only two presses from the Ferrari factory that press the shape of the shield into the fenders if you want the factory shields, for example.

Funny ..I thought I heard similar to classic coach in NJ (about press)

Maybe those are the two "premier" ferrari body shops

I know they handle (or used to ) all off the boat clean up / damage repair before going to dealers

There also have a great "old world" leather upholstery shop

The title says NY so you may want to check them out

Speak to Rocco since Carlos is now at Central ferrari NJ
