I dont see a Verstappen problem. I see Horner and Marko needing to move along. That is all I was thinking, why not new management over the F1 operation. All else can stay.

I don't see how Horner or Marko are a problem, and what removing them fixes (in fact, I think getting rid of both will actually do them team a lot of harm, and will also very soon be the end of RBR + STR in F1).

The Honda engine is still underpowered. The RBR definitely has potential, but Newey needs to figure out what causes the aero imbalance. If Newey does his part the car will be much quicker already. Then Honda needs to up their game.

But frankly, it doesn't matter what anyone does. When you're up against Mercedes, with twice the staff, unlimited resources, FIA in their pocket...what is anyone supposed to do?

He has less than 1/3 the points as his team mate. He's getting beat by an Alfa driver.

    https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/151026/clutch-bolt-failure-cost-hulkenberg-british-gp-start

Racing Point has confirmed a clutch bolt issue prevented the team from being able to fire up Nico Hulkenberg's engine, ruling him out of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix.

Hulkenberg was drafted in at the 11th hour to replace Sergio Perez, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday.

Qualifying 13th for his first race since Abu Dhabi 2019, Hulkenberg was unable to take the start when Racing Point was unable to fire up his car, with investigations revealing a clutch bolt had failed and come loose within the drivetrain.

"It looks like a bolt sheared within the clutch housing," said team boss Otmar Szafnauer.

"And that bolt got caught and therefore wouldn't allow the internal combustion engine to turn over.

"So where the bolt fell off, it got jammed, and we couldn't turn the engine over.

"I think it's a bit early to understand why, but it did shear off so it could be a material issue, it could be an over-torque issue, I don't know.

I'll go along partially with this but for me the team are shutting the door on a driver who will most likely go to another team and take valuable info with him. The engine scandal is yet to be uncovered and only a small number of people know the real story.

They should of paid him off [SV] and told him to leave immediately, get the standby simulator driver to take up the secondary role and test, test test under race conditions and fix the correlation problems in the wind tunnel [if it existed]

If they wanted to sabotage him, they only needed to make him finish 4th, not 10th. At this moment they need any points they can get.

Nobody thought there was sabotage when Vettel outscored Leclerc soundly at Hungaroring. I think that **** just happens.

Red Bull tends to push one driver and neglect the other.
Verstappen is the flavour of the month, and no one else has a look.
Anyone partnering him is "recycled" after a while.
Albon looked the most promising recently, but he won't escape the Marko treatment.

Running out of excuses again ?

When Ferrari had unlimited resources, the "garagists" managed to beat it many times, remember ?

2019 MB budget around 400M €uros and roughly similar to Ferrari's.
    2019 RBR budget around 315M €uros

Careful now, you are letting facts get in the way! ;)

BTW-Does Ferrari still retain the 'Veto' power over the rules? Has this recently changed?

Ferrari have the resources. The results of the input of those is the issue. They are not producing a good, competitive car with 'resources'. Lacking focus and management.
