After a month-long wait for the car to be certified and shipped, it is finally here. Picked this up from Ferrari of San Antonio, probably one of the highest mileage FF's around with 48k miles on it, still drives like brand new. I think I got a pretty great deal on it despite the mileage, 2-year warranty included. Some initial impressions:

    1. The V12 sound is epic. As many have said, it's a little quiet from inside the car when you aren't mashing the gas, and even then it is probably a lot louder outside than inside. May put an exhaust on but don't want to mess with cats since it's under warranty.

    2. Everyone bashes the infotainment system but it does the job just fine IMO. I don't mind using an aux cable for music. Carplay would be nice, but I can live with this. I never use the in-car navigation system anyway.

    3. The hi-fi audio option is pretty nice for a stock system. Wouldn't pay $6k for it but I'm glad somebody else did.

    4. Triple-layer paint looks even better in person than pictures

    5. Car drives smaller than it is, I don't feel like there is a massive hood sitting in front of me like I do with the Panamera or AMG GT.

    6. Back seat is usable. Had a full car yesterday and the rear passengers said it was comfortable back there.

    7. Brakes are a little grabby sometimes but you get used to it.

    8. Coming from a GT3 the driving experience is very different but I can see using this car every day whereas the GT3 was more of a 1-2 times a week car.

    9. The ice cold air conditioning combined with ventilated seats and the double-glazed windows is fantastic, much needed when it's 110 degrees outside.

    10. The blue carbon fiber is amazing, glad it was spec'd instead of the standard color.

Congrats and I wish you good luck with it!

One question, those are "ventilated seats"?

Yes, seats are ventilated. You can see the switch on the drivers side in one of the pictures.

Seems like a sensible way to get into a car like this, if you can get a 2 year warranty included and get a price that reflects the higher miles.

    Congrats, enjoy!
You are wise not to change anything because of the warranty, I did because way too quiet inside;)

I did just that, think I got a pretty good deal on it where I should be able to sell in 1-2 years for close to what I paid. There's always the itch for something new around that time...

There are 2 kinds of people in the car world; those who can afford a Ferrari and those who cannot. Being in the second group, I want to thank you for posting the pictures and descriptions of the car for vicarious enjoyment. I am truly pleased that you are so happy with the car; in these times it is hard to find something to distract from the hassles of life. I will have to content myself with a few classic Caddies and fantasize about hitting the lottery and buying a Ferrari - of course, that would mean that I would have to buy tickets, which I never do :)

Enjoy the car in good health - and thanks to all of you here for sharing your toys in a virtual way :)

David- my 100% fav Ferrari color. Glad you found it! I have a silver lusso coming down from Seattle but am facing the same month long wait. Was your wait time due to parts needed for warranty repair by any chance? That’s the story w mine.
I’m in San Antonio as well. I live about 10mi from the store. Hope to run in to you at club meetings. Enjoy!

You enjoy it. Nice spec and pretty, though being picky, shame they didn’t spec with yellow calipers to match the cavallino crest!! I can vouch for daily driver. Extremely livable and mine has done 500+ mile stints in rain, picked up 30 bags of MiracleGro at Home Depot, and been in car shows days later! A true Swiss Army Knife! For fun, I use my Vantage S; old school but charming! Enjoy it, I doubt you will see anything done in the certification period as they are bulletproof.

Congrats - the car is beautiful! Does the CPO warranty cover the PTU failure? Also, what condition are the brakes in?
