Your issues are more to do with owning a Challenge, than owning a 355. A normal one would be fine. How is Gizz’s going?
OK, it's the spark plug KIAI suggested it was the MOTEC from his experience as well, so he's a dummy as well ? YOU thought you had seen this issue yourself with WOT calibration so I took it to the MOTEC guys in Sydney and WOT calibration was NOT the problem but the engine WAS shutting off at 6500 revs and was doing it ALL the time and was reproducable on demand. They changed the cam position sensor and this seemed to work until I took the car back to QLD, it had the problem return on the trip back so I was resigned to getting the wiring loom replaced as the MOTEC guys said if it returned that was the most likely cause of the problem. Anyway, the car is running very well now and Gezim will fix all of the wiring for me so all is well
Gizz's car is running fine from where I stand but he's closer to it and will update when he gets time My car is driven .... a LOT, and while a great track car , can be demanding of your full attention on the open road where the roads aren't smooth I was going to swap cars with Gezim as I've only ever driven other 355s on the track

Wow funny you mention that, I hit a bump after I left you guys, going back past Lake M. It made a massive bang, really nasty! That road is really **** through there. Half hour later back on the highway in sixth gear @100kph car lost drive, engine light came on, I pulled over thinking **** I'm going to need a tow to Marcs. Anyhow when I came to a halt I selected Neutral and the engine light went off, I sat there idling for a minute or two thinking wtf just happened and then selected 1st and slowly drove off. I took it easy home but without issue, although I wasn't game to put it in 6th. I don't know if the massive bump had anything to do with the issue, that's my first engine warning light I messaged Marc and told him what happened although haven't spoken to him yet. Anyone got any ideas?
Hope it's alright Kim, that road to Moogerah is a bloody disgrace, the Lexus bottomed out when I went there a few weeks back so was NOT looking forward to taking a car that is half the height off the ground
