Wheel options, exhaust, radio antenna in the windshield, high performances accessories and what did or didn’t come from the factory. Here is one that I haven’t seen before. According to a Maranello Concessionaires brochure there was a spot lamps option at least on UK models. Not sure what a spot lamp would be, however, this morning I was cleaning my car and noticed what appears to be driving light brackets above my front grill. Never noticed them before. The only other car that I have seen these on was a 208 Turbo. Could this be the spot lamps that are mentioned in the brochure?

Cibie “Airport” 35 were certainly fitted to those brackets to UK cars for “Flash to Pass” lights

I bought a set with yellow lenses off eBay. Seem to come up pretty often.

    .

208 turbo had the same factory option flashing lights, Cibie Airport 35.

But the 208 Turbo had a special front grill with holes where to hang them, while on 308 GTB/GTS you needed two factory option brackets too.

    ciao

Thanks for the picture Tommy and Alberto, can you take a picture of the bracket that holds the lights in place? After some initial research, it doesn't appear to be a plug and play setup. I have brackets on my 308 that won't line up with the Cibie Airport 35 lights. I looked in the parts manual as well, and those don't appear to be a fit either. Thanks,

I don't get it, especially the covers. Do you take them off with the intention that "I think I will flash to pass today"?

They work but they are not hooked up to my column switch. Their switch is mounted in the ashtray so no extra visible holes or non-factory switch out where you can see it.

I just think the covers have a cool 80's look so I left them on.
