Hi jtremlett, I got some info back on this - there were three Blu Chiaro 348tb imported to UK - two with Crema hide and one with Grigio. Any idea on the Interior Colour on the repainted one?

 

Sad to see these beautiful cars at the breakers. Anyone know numbers on how many of the 130 UK TB's are remaining?

 

Yes, cream. So one with cream interior left (your car) and one with grey.

 

71 registered in the UK. That doesn't mean all the others are destroyed. 14 show as exported and the export marker isn't always set on cars that are exported.

 

Are you counting GTBs separately? or does that include GTBs?

 

GTBs separately. There were 14 new to the UK originally, of which 12 are currently registered in the UK (or were when I last checked a little while back). One of the remaining two shows as exported.

Edited to add that, of course, there are also a good number of LHD cars in the UK as well which obviously I also haven't counted.

There think were 2 carpets in the tanish palette I recall that. The names escape me, they are out here somewhere though. Someone may remember and chime in but there were 2, one lighter than the other if I recall, I think.....

 

One was called Castoro.

 

Interesting that neither of these very popular shades were listed here. Shrug

I realise this is old thread . I am the missing 3rd Blue Chiaro 348 TS . It was painted to Rosso in the UK by a previous owner in 1999. Hence it’s been missing from data base. Hope that helps
