1992 348 TS for sale. I posted a testing water add about 1 year ago had some traction but did really push the sale. But now it’s time. Below is a re-write of my original post with all updates. Fellow f-members I have decided to sell my 348 (really need the room now) and want to offer it here first. I only picked the car up about 2 years ago from a fellow F-chat member (a simple search will find his post). Drove it a little bit and started addressing simple things the car needed. It truly is a great car, fun to drive and people LOVE IT! If I do sell want it to go to a good home. the below service was done at 80,760 miles and completed the first of July 2018 as told to me by previous owner. Car currently has just under 82,000 miles with all these receipts. New high flow injectors New exhaust system and performance cats All new coolant hoses and lines New Clutch with Hill Engineering throw out bearing All new upper end gaskets, valve cover, intake, etc. Valve covers were stripped and repainted Intake was separated and repainted Flushed brake fluid Recharged AC system adjusted valves new oil and filter K&N Air Filter Timing belt and roller kit Waterpump and housing Alternator replaced (see below in additions, wasn’t quality) Additions: New Radio with speakers. (nothing fancy) Window switches and relays (strong and fast now). NEW OEM Head light switch. $$$ (old one included) Replaced missing exhaust heat shields (not cheap) Battery New fog light lenses. Outer axel boots both side Trans service with redline oil. New Triple seals w/new clutch disk due to oil contamination. Alternator rebuild with quality parts. (Light popped on last week) Condition: Interior, carpets are original a tiny bit faded but in good condition and has 348 floor mats. The car has a carbon fiber "kit" installed in the interior, see photos. The car has the factory tool kit which appears complete the best that I can tell. Tools, screwdrivers, pliers, belts, bulbs, fuses, etc. The tires have plenty of tread left. The brakes are in good shape, a small squeak but think its just an aggressive pad. There are no warning lights, other then passenger seatbelt light, no check engine lights, It was aligned and balanced before I got it. I have driven it a few times and it handles great. Dash lights are bright and working well. AC is cold and blows great. Car drives out well, shifts smoothly (as a 348 does), and sounds amazing runs fantastic. Front end would benefit from a respray due to rock chips consistent with the mileage but overall the car presents very well. It does have a very very slight buffer mark on the drivers door edge, wont photograph, though is very minor and probably won’t be seen. The passenger door does has a couple small nicks in the edge where the door opens. The only issues I know of are, as mentioned before, the passenger seatbelt light is on. Belts all work properly just that light is on. And as show in the photos there are 2 oil leaks. One is the cam orings I believe, supper minor as you can see. And the banjo bolt crush washer, which is a main culprit. And would be supper easy to fix. The slight leak hasn’t bothered me(I think im tainted from my air cooled Porsche days) and was planning on addressing next major. This would be an amazing driver for someone with all recent service just completed. And receipts going back many years. Asking 41k for a fellow F-chat members. Probably one of the lowest priced ones in a while. I think with the way the market has been going this is a fair price and investment for the next owner. Oh I've no doubt. But I bought an F430 in April, and I still haven't sold the Porsche that was part of the bargaining for the Ferrari. MY wife would HANG ME if I came home with another F-car. GLWS!
Not if you "bought it for her!"........... lol Sent from my SM-G960U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Have service history scanned in and a copy of the carfax that i got before me. if anyone would like to see them PM you email and ill send them over.
Getting more and more tempted by these. I echo @Sancho22 in it being a good thing I can only get to NY by plane. I can't tell what I'm looking at under the rear plate. Is that just a crazy reflection or...?
Its a paint blister unfortunately. Who ever installed the muffler did it wrong and it sat right against the bumper. I have corrected the muffler, and was planning on haveing the front and rear bumper re painted. Just never got around to it. It's not visibale as the plate blocks it. I like to show cars as accurately as i can so i made it a point not to hide it. Sent from my SM-G960U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
