    In the past the yellow was an upgrade on the Porsche as it represented the carbon brakes. Red was reserved for the steel brakes standard choice.
    Interestingly the corporate look for the Ferrari press cars is typically silver brake calipers with silver wheels.
    I was having some fun with Garretto as he is not a fan of the yellow calipers. As with all the paint choices it is down to personal taste.

    True that Porsche link, in fact no one payed too much attention to caliper colours until P started doing that. I dare saying that you would have not seen a single F car with yellow calipers until then...

    Probably this is a good place to express (again) how tired I am getting of stripes and most liveries. By now I feel stripes are completely overplayed, we've really had enough, to the point that mainstream thinking is that some models NEED the stripe only because factory decided to introduce them with a stripe. Really, George?

    Good thing about the stripeless Pista is that you can add stripes whenever you want and also change to different colors, patterns or back to stripeless when you get bored with them. I just added stripes on my stripeless Pista and I like it. I will probably remove them and try different color and pattern if I don't like it anymore.
