Apart for that they were never caught and as far as we know never did anything wrong that can be proven. They should have held to their guns and kept going as they were IMO.

...hence the very old saying: "the worst ennemy of Ferrari has always been Ferrari".

So Vettel will be off to the Pink team next year ...thing is would you seriously expect him to give 100 pct effort etc to Ferrari until then? eg is he really going to race against Stroll or Hulk if they coming from behind or try overtake them? haha good luck with that !

I love Ferrari and am 100% a fan, but I have to agree with @DF1 - it would appear to be much of their woes are self-inflicted. The only way for that to change if fans like myself exposing our displeasure.

I hope the boys in Maranello dream about me if they continue to lose, that should be enough for anyone to have an I've met Jesus moment.

    OMG, I can’t unsee that.

This is the punishment I get for coming to this thread to read nasty things about Vettel.

I expect him to. He's a professional. If he has your thinking, he should just terminate his contract on the spot.

The way things are going this year would it really matter one way or the other? I think not. So no, he'll stick and collect his Euros.

You make him sound like a normal driver. Seb is a 4x WDC. He's not wired to perform 'normal'.

Hey . . relax. I'm a Seb defender. But what has he got going this year other than collect a paycheck? I could easily say the same thing about Chuck, but he's managed two podiums. A difference between the two cars? Maybe . . . or not.

No hard feelings mate. But i do feel something is really wrong with Seb's car. In Hungary he was even the pit strategist. It showed his will.

My thinking ? Do you have a crystal ball ?

Ok for what it's worth if i was in his shoes and RP somehow offered me an immediate start ,yes i would tell Harry P to stick it right up there.

As it is he has no such offer and he is contracted to drive rest of this season,so he will just turn up and complain about the car .Can't possibly be his rubbish performance can it ?

All that was 6 years ago, but his form has declined a lot since.
Vettel is the typical case of a champion who peaked too early, IMO.

Or was in perfect circumstance and was able to make the most of it. Since Ricci and facing superb competitive team-mates that have race craft, Vettel has been exposed. He never gets a title if he doesnt go to Red Bull. Seb simply is not that good is he?

In trying times a champion shows his true worth, Seb needs to step it up or give it up. And I like the guy.

If he stays in F1, he will be happy to do like Raikkonen and drive an uncompetitice car at the back.

One thing our failings have made me do, is rather than worrying about Seb, is look at up and coming drivers.

Ilott and Scwartzman are looking very very good, the competition to be Charles team mate in 2020 is going to be quite intense...

The past 2 season's were those exact 'trying times' and he did not exactly 'step up' as a champion. If anything he folded under pressure.

    If rumors are correct, and Vettel goes to Racing Point, he will step into a better car than he is leaving ! {Ferrari}

Unfortunately Vettel having a competitive car at Ferrari didn’t help him in 2017 or 2018.
