Yeah me either. But I have had one instance where I stopped for gas and my car wouldn't start. Towed it home and it started there?

Had a mates Holden VZ SS manual Commodore that once turned of at the local car wash or in front of the local video Ezy shop front electronic doors would not restart. Push it up the Rd 50mtrs and away it would go. Very wierd. Holden believed the Radio signal was interfering with the cars BCM

I have an M2.7 so not familiar with the immobilizer, but I’m curious when a M5.2 doesn’t start because of the immobiliser, is there not some indicator that the immobilizer is active? (LED or something) or even reading the status through the OBD port?

Andrew, there's an LED on the dashboard which flashes. Also, the number of chirps from the alarm siren when pressing the keyfob button indicates active, disabled or faulty.
