Have any of you upgraded your standard mounts to Scud/ Challenge spec when the org went bad?
I am replacing mine soon as they are shot, but from experience in previous cars.... Usually you will get more NVH with "upgraded" or "sport/race" mounts
The Scuderia gearbox mount is fine and a good upgrade, but the Challenge/CS engine mounts add a noticeable amount of NVH for not a huge amount of gain.
I believe the gearbox mount is a challenge to change, you need a special extractor like the one from hill engineering
It is horrible to change. It took me a couple days. Mine was corroded in. I ended up making a couple cuts into the outer ring of the mount and then it came out rather easy. To get it in, I recommend freezing it overnight so it becomes slightly smaller.
