Thanks everyone for all the kind words!

I lucked out and found them on eBay at a super price. They were removed from a 430 when new during the pre purchase inspection because the owner wanted custom painted sills instead of carbon fiber. So basically brand new sills.

Ron- Great deal, very pretty, and the design is very similar to the 575M CF sills. Found mine on E-Bay for a heavily discounted price, too. Assume the aluminum insets were separate, like mine.

    Awesome looking CF sills.

My car also has the OEM CF sills amongst other OEM CF features. For the sills, I had the 3M Premium (self healing) clear bra installed over it just in case of clumsy foot/heal syndrome....

    Cheers

    +1

I have the same 430 OEM CF sills, also have them clear bra'ed, and enjoy the "peace of mind".

Can anyone offer any instruction or pictures on how you remove & replace the door sills in a 2007 Ferrari F430? I would like to remove my current Ferrari Door SIlls & replace with New Carbon Fiber.

I see where you have reached out on numerous posts for detailed directions.

I thought the directions, with pictures, in this post were really good

What is it specifically your looking for in addition to what was already shown???

    All I can add is..............

    1) open the car door

    2) along the bottom edge of the door cut out pull up on the rubber door seal. Don't completely remove the door seal from all the way around. Just unseat the lower half to completely expose the door sill.

    3) there will be two screws securing the door sill, remove them.

    4) along the aft end of the door cut out is a pnl that had the door striker plate (the thing the door latch hooks on.
remove the bottom screw from that so you able to lift it slightly.

    5) pick up on the fwd end of the door sill, while rising it up shift it fwd to remove it. the door sill has a lip that is under the door pnl with the striker plate

    6) installation is reverse of the removal process

    7) there may be a difference between the carbon & stainless door sill screw holes used to secure it.
You may need to remove the plastic inserts or purchase new one from Ricambi & push them into the other (empty) holes in the car

    8) To remove the insert just start the screw into the insert & pull it out with pliers. If you tighten the screw all the way in you wont be able to pull the insert out.

    1. Take it to a shop.

I've seen the numerous posts for this also throughout the forum. If you require more detailed instructions than what's already been offered for a "job" of this caliber, then you need to leave it to professionals.

Lift up the door seal above the door sill....remove the screws.

Then slide the door sill to the left or right, then should be able to lift off.

This is a very helpful writeup.
Is there adhesive holding the sill in place or is it only secured with two screws?
My new stainless trim will arrive this week. Does it come with the thin black vinyl trim or do I have to order that separately.
    Thanks to all

looks awesome.... a subtle, only the driver would notice enhancement...!

Curious, ~how much were the inserts? Also, if I cannot locate on EBAY, any idea where to purchase?

To protect my car adequately from myself, I’d need to install clear bra to protect the clear bra! :D
