Legendary actress Olivia de Havilland past away today. Most famous for her role in GWTW, but my favorite will always Maid Marian in 1938's Robin Hood. RIP...T

Some of the Bond movies with Roger Moore were underrated.

It must be Truman Show, or Fight Club.

Been watching a lot of pre-code movies of late. Favorites include...

Ladies They Talk About - 1933 - Barbara Stanwyck

    Bolero - 1933 - Carole Lombard & George Raft

One Way Passage - 1932 - Kay Francis & William Powell

The 1932 version of Scarface with Paul Muni, George Raft and Anne Dvorak is excellent.

Carole Lombard and Robert Montgomery (Elizabeth's dad). Directed by Alfred Hitchcock.

Silly screwball comedy. Atypical Hitch film, which he did at the request of Lombard. Lombard is her usual funny, lovely self. Her penultimate film before her tragic early death in a plane crash...T

This sort of implies that when you were 16 ... uh I don't think that's how you use that phrase.

Loved the original. Am I the only guy on the planet that wasn't impressed with the sequel? I thought the plot was weak, sets were weak, dogfight scenes were weak, characters were weak. Highlight of the movie was Iceman. It was a decent movie but disappointing.

Where Eagles Dare… Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood set in the Second World War.

I’m also keen on In Harms Way with John Wayne and Kirk Douglas also set in WW2.

    Cheers!
