I know they are perforated into the leather deck but mine are aftermarket chrome or SS. Should I pull and powder it matte black or leave as is.
IMO; black would be 'out of character', so if not going back to correct perf leather/vinyl, I think leave them in chrome/ss. Or.....pc them to match the existing leather/vinyl so they 'disappear'.......jmo.....
If you’re spending any time/effort on this, why not just recover the package self back to OEM format ?
If you decide recover the rear shelf and match the vinyl, get enough material just in case you want to redo the door sills in black, I think that is how they all came.
I have made a die that we use to punch out the speaker holes in a very nice neat pattern for the GTC. We also use and sell the orig vinyl material with speaker holes punch into it. We can supply the vinyl - punched and your upholstery person can then recover the package tray for you - if this is of an interest.
