You can just very costly, I was quoted a little over 25k Canadian which is around 20grand plus labour, eventually decided to just sell the car and move on. I believe if you were to spec a brand new car it was only a 7k option or something like that. Not sure about CarPlay.

Yup. It lifts the whole car and adds 1.6 inches of ground clearance to the already generous 5 inches of standard clearance. It will only operate at speeds up to 25mph though - so as Caeruleus11 says it’s good for fields and other things like unexpected snowstorms and steep driveway ramp angles.

    Indeed.
It lifts the 4 corners as the main issue with the Lusso is the ground clearance between the front and rear axles. The wheel base is so long that you can get beached on high humps. In very rare occasions is the front lip really the issue.

You can add these but on a non limited car such as the Lusso, it is probably just a better idea to find the right car from the get-go. You will spend so much money in adding these.

I'm at the dealer today for service, and it reminded me how many brand new undelivered GTC4Lussos there are out there that aren't listed on any websites or car sales sites due to Ferrari HQ policies. There's a PERFECT example here for sale that has all of the right specs! Two issues:

    1. I haven't convinced the wifey yet.
    2. It's also nearly $120-150k US more than slightly used models out there or a brand spanking new V8 model.

I have a few friends that have either FFs and or Lussos and they have just about got me convinced to give one a try .....the bang for the buck for a used one is really pretty good.... so definitely seriously considering one also ... I like the idea of any everyday V12 4 seater Ferrari ...

I guess I'm "lucky".....mine already failed under warranty....since then has been good....I'll up the warranty though after my free 4th year because of the aggravation....

The passenger display is a total waste and not worth the money.....

The 2 inch dual lift is also handy but gotta remember to do it as it takes a few seconds...

Sounds wonderful. Exhaust is just the looks not a different system. The Hi-Fi is really good and the car play is actually well integrated. Its a very well thought out car. You are probably no stranger to these cars but just a reminder to use the correct mode for the conditions- for example I had mine out this morning in the rain and I used wet mode- it really works!

But FF or Lusso is definitely a lot of cars for the relatively small amount of money it commands in the market. Lusso is more refined and a lot more quieter, and inside materials is subtly thinner and of less quality comparing to FF.

I have 11K miles on FF, knock on wood, no issues yet with PTU.

Not sure on timing of when the car will be ready, but I can't wait! Having spent a considerable amount of time in the 458/488 chassis and a little time in a Portofino, I'm pretty excited to get into the GTC4Lusso.

Thank you! The color is Blu Pozzi!

Any owners out there know what this red string is?

Edit: Scratch that. Quick search points to an emergency glove box release. Wonder why these are sometimes dangling like that.

Red string almost looks like it should be something forbidden to see doesn't it! Its actually much more mundane purpose than that- its an emergency/ backup/ glove box release. Blu Pozzi is one of the best standard colors. It's a personal favorite. Congratulations, it looks splendid on the GTC4 Lusso shape- very classy.

is it just me, or is the passenger display that ferrari was pushing when this car was released really dumb? the fact that you need to turn it on every time ensures that it always stays off. Even my kids have zero interest in playing with it. and i dont think you can control satellite radio or car play through it, which kind of defeats the purpose of the entertainment controls on it.

Took a while to get the photos used for the sale w/o the watermarks on it! Here you go! Still haven't picked up the car yet, but hopefully this weekend! It's Blu Pozzi with Terra Bruciata interior and some pretty lovely blue stitching (STC2 because apparently nobody would dare order STC1. if you've had the pleasure and luck of being able to order a car, you'll know all about these types of silly things you hear from the dealer).
