Hi guys and girls Does anyone know of a alternative replacement for the very expensive 599 alternator part number 263832? I can’t seem to find any details anywhere? Thanks in advance Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Not many alternator shops here in the Middle East and not sure I would trust them! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
The Denso part number for the 599 alternator is 104210-5030. Unfortunately they've not listed it on the global Denso e-catalog. There are a couple that are very close (ending 5020, 5021 and 5050) that come from Alfa 159 and Jaguar XF. Dimensions and specs for these are all available online if you want to remove your alternator and take some measurements to compare. https://www.denso-am.co.uk/e-catalogue/ Also looks like various Maserati's (4200 and Granturismo to name a couple) use a compatible alternator. I cant comfirm this; they look the same, but the Denso part number is slightly different. It may be as simple as a different pulley though, in which case you could easily transfer the pulley from your existing alternator.
A used/refurbished(?) Denso 5030 alternator in seemingly good condition is available at https://www.bildelsbasen.se/68-W484545.html (Sweden) at a more-or-less decent price - as far as these things go.
