I just received my headers from Tubi Style and am looking forward to the installation.

I purchased part number TSFE360C99.003 shown as the US version and good for 1999-2005.
As compared to part number 01239911070C for the insulated non-US headers.

As i continue to obsess and research, i figured out that what makes the TSFE part number different is the inclusion of the secondary air injection rail.

I have a 1999 360, which to my understanding does not have the secondary air injection system.

Do i have a potential problem? Does the air injection rail on the headers need to be capped off at installation, or is this a non-issue?

    pic for attention:

Quick update thanks to quick response from the retailer - I can swap out these for the non-US version with some minor cost (or I may end up seeing if anyone here wants them before I send back, assuming that’s more cost effective ).

can someone help confirm for me that the 1999 US 360’s don’t have the secondary air injection at all, and that swapping this out would make my life easier?

The various online sources confirm the part number for the air pump is only on the 2000+ but since I got here by listening to part numbers I wanted to ask.

    Eg https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/360-group/360-modena/secondary-air-system-valid-for-usa-and-cdn-my-2000-2004/181197-secondary-air-pump.html

On the F430 they only make one version, and it has the air rails. But there is only one version of the F430 that has air injection and uses air rails - the Scud.

So those of us that have Tubi on our F430’s have air injection rails we don’t use. Most leave them capped off, I cut mine off and welded it closed.

So not a big deal if your manifolds have them but you don’t need them.

It's easy to see if you pop the back hatch open, if it has air injection it'll look identical to what you have there with a big hose going into the bung.

indeed -- always forget how easy and accessible this engine is.

confirmed no air injection, but per Joe's feedback i might just stick with these and cap them off, will be a wider market to resell the headers if i ever sell / strip.

I can swap them out at some minor cost, EXCEPT apparently all of Italy shuts down for the month of August, so won't know if/when they have them in stock for two weeks putting my timeline for install at risk :)

How much are you looking to get for those headers?
