    I was thinking the other day about how limited the number of teams are in F-1 compared to seasons like 1990 and some in the early 70's when you had 18 - 20 teams out there. I've always thought that F-1 would be better if they could preserve old team names and if you enter you have to adopt one of those teams... here is my list of my top 5 teams I wish would come back:

    1. Lotus
    2. Ligier -Matra
    3. Auto Union - Audi
    4. Bugatti
    5. BRM

    I loved the 3 liter era so . . .

    Eagle
    Brabham
    Lotus
    Tyrrell
    Wolf
    . . . and any team(Matra, Ligier, Shadow) using Matra V12 power. Actually any team with a V12.

    Agree with Wolf, Lotus and Shadow,

    but for fun, how about Ferrari (Mid 1970s or early 2000s)? I miss Ferrari the most (not sure what the red cars are that are in F1 now but as bad as they are they cannot be Ferrari, can they?) :)

    All of the above, but looking at the crappy formula we have today, not to mention the vast expense, no privateer/garagisata is going to bother.

    With the idiots in the EU and national government mandating an 'electric future' , no new manufacturer is going to bother.

    F1 is broken.

    Everybody is welcome back, but I don't have much sympathy for teams rebranded with an old name bought by a random investor. In that case, I think legends should be left resting in peace.

    There's a few I'd love to see again, but the men that made them the teams they were are gone or too old so there'd be no sense as it wouldn't be the "same" teams. (Isn't that what teams are? A group of people? To me the same "team" is not just a name.....;))
