    Anyone found a direct replacement equivalent for these? I see they have for the 612..how about the 599? Mine are weak and need replaced. :)

    My Eurospares struts came 2 weeks ago! I have yet to put them on but will be doing that shortly!

    I just got struts for the bonnet and boot from https://spareto.com/ All 4 totaled $110 delivered and they appear to be OEM. One set was out of stock and was going to take a couple of weeks but they communicated well and they struts arrive as promised. I have installed the struts for the boot already and I have to say WOW! Perfect fit and everything is as expected. I have added two pics, the first is the new and old strut side by side and the other is the boxes with part numbers.

    NOTE: the spring clips are VERY stiff so if you haven't done one of these pop off the old one and see how it works before trying the new ones.

    Well done! I never posted a follow up to the installation. Mine went on perfectly after I figured out that there's a *slight* difference in length between the front and rear.....once I determined that it was easy to install!

    Yes, they do look very similar but I believe they are different strength/force. The 5553 are the boot and the 9676 are the hood.
