Looking forward to you crossing 30k, then 40k, etc. Of course with the washer fluid running low you may be up the creek for a while! Picked mine up from the detailer yesterday (paint correction, Graphene on wheels, windows) and dropped her off at the wrap guy’s shop for a full coverage of Suntek Ultra. She will finally be home on Wednesday. The Suburban will be kicked out of the garage once again. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Who knows? I may still be in the honeymoon stage and if it sounds good...go for it. His comments are below. It does look fantastic though. I can see how some people like to look at their cars just as much as drive them. “Graphene Ceramic Coating is the newest formula out on the market. It is much better than the Ceramic coatings that have been out. Adams Graphene Ceramic that I use claims to protect up to 7 seven years but that depends on how the vehicle is taken care of. It claims to protect up to 1500 degrees as well. The surface has to be prepared for the coating. It has a deeper gloss and will withstand more punishment. Less prone to water spots, acid rain, and bird droppings.” Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Love to see you put miles on that thing! I hope to have my new one by this weekend since the weather will be nice down here in Houston. Fingers crossed!
Hope you're Ferrari driving soon, McG. You still shooting for a T? I drove my first turbo F car yesterday. This bad boy. Image Unavailable, Please Login F8 Spider. Sound not as good as NA, but no turbo lag. Thing is a rocket! T
Yep. I have a 2017 T that should be shipped here this week. I can only imagine how awesome that F8 was to drive! Was that part of the drive experience that Boardwalk was doing?
Glad to hear that. Can't wait to see her! Post up pics when she arrives. There are a bunch of demo yellow/sterling blue F8 Spiders making the rounds of the F dealers. It was pretty awesome. You should snag yourself a demo drive. You will be trading up in no time! Image Unavailable, Please Login CDC approved drop top F-car test drive awesomeness! T
Tom I like the yellow one in the picture. I was contemplating a grey one at my dealer the other day and I really like the design.
I agree. I think it's one of the better looking new Ferrari I have seen in a while. I liked the interior much more than the Roma. Did you drive the F8 Spider, Mario? T
Tom I didn't drive it and that's why I'm curious to know what's your impression of the F8 on the road.
Posted some thoughts here... F8 Spider https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/index.php?posts/147429226/ Overall, I really liked it for the short time I drove it...T
Tom thank you that's a very interesting review and as you said the F8 is one of the better looking new Ferraris.
Image Unavailable, Please Login It's been perfect driving weather the last month or so. A little too cool to push it on summer tires, but great weather to add miles & smiles. Forza! As I pulled into garage after last drive, odo read 26667. That's almost exactly 2/3 of the way to 30 K. Fingers crossed, next spring! T
Cool...What wheels and winter tires are you using? I've toyed with the idea of getting an extra set of wheels and winter tires just for peace of mind (and to keep my wife from nagging me! about driving on summer tires when temps dip below 50). We're kind of on the cusp here in Big D. A bit further south, and it's no issue. A bit further north, and it'd be a no brainer. BTW, have you ever posted pics of your Cali? Can't recall seeing any pics of it. T
Our Cali 30 is post #943 under "Official Ferrari California Picture Thread." We are using Pirelli Sottozeros on the car. So far we have just switched out the tires in spring and fall but plan to buy a second set of wheels next spring. Temps are already low in the Chicago area. It's just not safe to drive with the summer tires. Hoping to get some good driving days in October and November, and then she's off to storage during the deep freeze!
I wonder if there’s a side mirror pic thread Tom?? From today on the Blue Ridge Parkway... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Tom, we just hit 20,000 last Wednesday. Not bad for someone who got the car last summer, with about 13,000 on the odometer! Giving her up for the winter will be HARD!
LOL. Love it, Andy! Leaves turning? I've only been there in summer, mostly around Roanoke, in the 911. Must be great in the Fall. Image Unavailable, Please Login T
She's a looker! Image Unavailable, Please Login At that rate, you'll be passing my mileage in no time. T
Sweet! Yes but not much of a colorful year this year. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Cool. Where along the Blue Ridge did you drive? I've only done from about the NC/VA border to Roanoke? T
