Never say never. I was greatly on the fence till I got to spend a bit of time with it. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
You think this is worse than the 208, Mondial and 412? Interesting. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
While the car certainly has great performance, it is to many not very pretty to say the least. Future "classic" doubtful in my opinion..
You should short RACE stock if you believe that. I guess I will cancel my order based on your astute observations. Feed the trolls!
So sorry I have offended you . I never knew I was pissing on your parade. You have ordered one , CONGRATULATIONS . I hope you enjoy it for a very long time and hope you never have any battery issues , no , not the starter , the battery making it a Hybrid. Please enjoy and again Congratulations. But please don't be so narrow minded , they are MANY that believe the SF 90 is ugly , heavy and many other things. Little alone the continual issues with electrics. And to suggest I am a troll because I responded to questions is ridiculous. Maybe all the SF 90 owners should respond that it will be a future classic and you can all pat yourselves
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Some opinions carry more weight than others. Silver lining- If such trolling is successful- the car will be that much rarer and more valuable when production ends. That would be special. All is good.
Disagreeing with your opinion does not make someone a troll. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The design to me lacks the harmony and a grace that often characterize a "classic design." The only way to establish if it is a great design is to view it in the context of time. Frankly this whole thread is silly and pointless. So I must be as well to even respond to this drivel.
This future classic could be unsaleable on the second hand market. Prepare to lose a lot of money ! It s not an LF but just an heavy hybrid F8 with a simple TT V8...that the reality, sorry
If you are looking for a future classic you need to consider what type of engine will be gone for ever and what makes us feel alive! Think F12 Ferrari, Mercedes SLS, Ford GT, GT3RS. 2005 - 2018 will be the glory years. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
What is so special about that? Other than the fact that all V8s (I am assuming you are referring to the older one) are nice.
Too early to say what will become future classics and collectibles. If any of these, it would be the VS cars more than likely, not the regular cars. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
There are many regular production cars that were made in smaller numbers than today’s VS cars. How many Pistas were made? Lots. The 458 was made in large numbers and is now appreciating. In other words- it’s a combination of future desirability and demand vs the supply. The F1 was unpopular and is now a $20mm car. I can only hope that the SF90 naysayers scare away buyers.
I think that's more likely due to the Laf being in that phase that each one of the supercars have gone through where they are no longer the IT car, no longer the fastest one but not old enough to be a classic. I find it hard to believe that people who can own all 5 would sweat a battery replacement every 10 years even at 200k. You would need $10m to buy all 5 so $20k a year aside for the battery is meh...
Where did you get that number from? AfaIk, it is 2000-2500 Pistas and 150 or so Spiders. Not even sure that number would be possible from a capacity standpoint. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
