Anyone ever find a source for the little bulbs in the third brake light array. As far as I cam tell these are the markings on the bulb but I don't know where they start, what is the first number/letter in the series. The E1 is in a box and I think refers to the type of base. n8n 092,3 E1 2a
Hi Barry, I think I found some that, while not exactly the same, would fit and work just as well https://www.bulbtown.com/2723_Miniature_Bulb_Glass_Wedge_Base_p/2723.htm You can get 20 of them for $4.20 plus shipping. I'm going to keep looking. OEM are 17.66 mm long and 4.61 mm dia. These are 20.mm long by 5 mm dia. Almost the same
You've been inside the assembly before, Dave, so you'd know what will work. You'll have enough bulbs to swap them all out to keep the light display uniform. Barry
Dave, Barry- If the bulbs are that inexpensive, they could not possibly work in a Ferrari, could they?
This one, however, while a bit more expensive, is an exact dimensional fit at 17.65 X 4.70 mm and it is a LED so it should last forever in this application. https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/miniature-wedge-base/74-led-bulb-1-smd-led-miniature-wedge-retrofit-car/227/7256/ This LED 74 bulb replaces a variety of traditional bulbs including 74, 103 and 118 bulbs. It has 1 LED (3528 SMD) that creates a 120° viewing angle. Miniature wedge base for easy plug-and-play installation. The energy-efficient bulb operates within a wide 9-14.8V DC range and is designed to last 10,000 hours on your car, truck, SUV, or van
