    Mr. "Red Rocket":
Don't try to avoid this discussion by steering away from the problem or playing it down. It is very clear that you have been "caught" and are now trying to find good excuses and a way out.
You appear to be on fchat since six years, hence you are not really new here. On average you have posted once every two weeks. Besides all that you claim to be a publisher (care to properly identify yourself??? Your real name? Publishing company? What do you publish? Where? Your audience?). As such I am sure you know what intellectual property is. This is not about "investment and expertise in good books". It is about the property and salary of the photographer and who holds the legal rights today to a particular photo.
Respect it, period. Stop posting photos that you have no legal rights to.
Alternative: go on google and find out more.

Unfortunately, there seem to be several other offenders on this forum including some long time contributors who continually display that same lack of respect.
Instead of trying to come up with their own, original content, they seem to spend hours(?) roaming around the web borrowing/copying/stealing that of others and “sharing” it here.

I am part of the team that produced the sold-out Kidston SA Miura book. Finding interesting photographs was a key part of the project. The pressure was on to to publish before they were burnt on FB, Insta and Lamborghinichat. They were all paid for and some ran into $100s. Throwing a load of stuff up with ‘copyright Getty’ on it has now become the norm.

A Kidston or Palawan book at $500+ on, say, the 512S/M or 250 LM would be a wonderful thing. But looking through the other thread on ‘photos I find on the net’, has left me utterly depressed. The new Palawan book of Brian Joscelyne photos might be ok as it is from an unpublished collection.

This is killing low-run, beautifully researched and illustrated publishing.

Were there any journalists present at the February 1962 press conference? If so, are there any reports in magazines or journals regarding the 250 GTO?

Are there any reports from magazines or journals regarding the February 1962 press conference? My sources tell me there were many British journalists the major European publishers as well as American magazines, like Road &Track, Car & Driver, etc., but I still haven't found one mention in any of them.

The brilliant 250 GTO book by Bluemel and Pourret touches on it but doesn't really cover it. Motorsport probably has a little note about it. My fave though is the John Godfrey SP book which gives several pages of information about it, mainly about the SPs shown but also noting detail about the 156GP and 250 GTO et al.

Well the PRESS conference did not take place in the Soviet Union but in a free country so YES of course there were members of the PRESS there....FYI a press conference is usually ONLY for the press/media and not the public. I recall reading about that press conference in a number of magazines from various countries long ago.

Which Series 2 GTO and owner is this one? I remember Epstein had 4091 around then and the LM's license was LM 64. But would drive his cars down from the Bay Area to So Cal for events.

I've found this video, my apologies if it has been posted already. Stephen Mitchell narrating some interesting footage of 250 GTO (and other Ferraris) owners having fun back in the late 60s/early 70s California:

The listing description seems a bit amateurish. At least they disclose that the photos aren't from the car they have for sale.
