does anyone know the bosch part number for the water temp sensor part 148677 for the temp gauge? Thanks
Coolant temperature sender for Motronic 5.2 Bosch part # 0 280 130 026 (this is the one located by the oil filter housing)
Please check the interchangeable parts thread at the top of this page. I have the bosch coolant sensor part number and many others listed in post #2 in that thread.
thanks guys, it's the temperature gauge sensor I was after (Motronic 2.7), it's located about 8 inches in front of the oil filter and has a red collar.
This was a great find. I just had coolant temperature gauge stop working this week and this save me some $150 over the "Ferrari" part. When I removed the coolant tank to check the sensor I noticed various similar looking sensors all going to various coolant casting. Is it the one somewhat below the oil filter? Looks like the one hardest to get to: https://www.ricambiamerica.com/car-diagrams/ferrari/v6-v8/355-group/f355-m2-7-1995/water-pump-and-oil-water-heat-exchanger.html Number 39. P/N 148677 Just disconnect the plug to see if the temperature gauge changes value.
Just want to confirm if getting the correct one. Do I need to replace the one circled in r d or yellow? Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
The yellow one. That's the odd one out (in relation to part numbers). You may not be able to see the wire colours, but the wire colours are grey and grey/white https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/water-temp-gauge-reads-from-thermistor-or-sensor.601538/#post-146648228 If you short one of the plug contacts to earth, the temperature warning light will come on (with the ignition on). i.e. the right hand socket with the clip on top. When it’s disconnected you see 0 I believe from memory I wish I could tell you for sure but that was 10 years ago for me
