488 Permanent Radio Glitch w/XM until cold restart

    See attached image...Permanent Radio Glitch w/XM until cold restart.

    Completely frozen when going into the menu. One thread said something about pulling the Radio fuse, but can't find the fuse box number relating to the Radio in the Manual.

    100 Miles RT to the dealer, rather not put the miles on the car if it's an easy fix.

    As you can see there are few miles on this 488.

    Try this.

    1. Completely turn off the radio (by pressing and holding down the volume button until the screen turns off)
    2. Shut off car
    3. Wait for car to go to sleep
    4. Start up car.
    5. Turn on radio

    Should be fixed (fingers crossed)

    I had a similar issue with my new 2019 488GTB a year and a half ago. It locked up exactly as you described when trying to access XM in order to get the receiver number to activate my account. After powering down for some time, and restarting, it would reset fine until I tried the exercise again.
    I called the dealer and they explained it was a known bug issue with the software.
    They took the car back, updated the software and I haven't had the issue since in over a year and a half.

    I have 2018 488 spider
    Had same issue 2 months ago
    Took to dealer and did software update and all is good now.
    Still XM goes in and out with these cars
