Well that was the expected royal cluster-xxxx by Ferrari. The car sux and sending Vettel out in traffic was such a fantastic executive decision. The only good that can come from this weekend is Binotto getting the boot.
Albon, wth? After all the hissing yesterday, I would have expected him to be closer to Max. Hell, Bottas is on Hamilton’s tail every quali and gets him sometimes. Albon is .3 off of Max at a circuit that’s all speed.
What a stupid thing to say. I’m certain Charles and Carlos can see critical years of their careers slipping away. If they aren’t prepared for the 2022 changes, then that’s a significant red flag (no pun intended)
I don't know about Sainz, but Charles Leclerc seems to have signed a long term contract with Ferrari. They both could end up casualties of Ferrari's debacle.
Why now? Why not when the cheating scandal was revealed? That was the point of emphasis. What's happening now is a given because of what went down before.
I didn’t watch Spa and I’m not watching Monza. It will be the first Italian Grand Prix I’m skipping. It’s really hard to care more than the team you cheer for...
The thing interesting about the times is that the Mercs on mediums in Q1 are faster than everyone else on softs in Q3 !
I lived in Pittsburgh for 6 years when the Steelers won 4 Super Bowls. {roughly equivalent to the Schumacher years at Ferrari} I suggest you pick a favorite driver and root for both Ferrari and for whomever you choose. {At least until Ferrari gets back on track.}
I'm not sure I believe (in spite of all the hate here...) that Vettel is actually slower than Grosjean - I suspect it has something to do with the car and the team.
It goes a little unnoticed but Charles is taking the upper hand on Vettel in qualifying. The potential is still there.
The week-end is a true reflection of the crowds that would have turned up at Monza to watch Ferrari i.e. no one
Yes. Binotto simply needs to become an engineer and leave management to those better skilled for it. Remember Brawn saying that success with the Scuderia is quite easy.
I wonder what the specific track or atmospheric differences are that had the Renault's so fast at Spa and so mid pack at Monza. (And the Racing Point (Perez's) so much better at Monza after being nowhere at Spa)
If SF manages to develop a fast and reliable car for 2022 and start winning races, way ahead of the competitors , I am absolutely sure there will be protests, investigations by FIA, insinuations by SKY and many other types of challenges...... In the meantime..... The German Engineering Machine produces extraordinary advantages and "superiority"...... Image Unavailable, Please Login Which can't be denied, but go unchecked, unchallenged.....and thats from a Country which reportedly agreed to pay Billions and Billions of US Dollars for penalties and compensation to whats referred to as "Dieselgate" .
