I’ll be there along with several friends with cars registered. The show has a nice mix with quite a few special models on display. They now have almost 180 cars, including those from a Saturday street and race car rally. We have a police escort bringing race cars down from Road Atlanta the day before following a VIP street rally drive.

Many military vets are bringing cars and will be honored, and a couple of actual military armored vehicles. Seems to be a great first year event out of the box to benefit veterans.

Unfortunately, the chance of thunderstorms is currently 58% for the entire duration of the event. It's not looking good.....

Can’t disagree with that, but for this location they had weddings scheduled Saturday. This was originally planned for June, but we know how that went for gatherings.....

Emailed out from them this morning:

"Due to the strong possibility of inclement weather in this weekend's forecast, the “Cars of Chateau” event will be postponed until Sunday, September 27th. All tickets will be honored for this alternative date."

Ironically, the forecast has improved so that all the storms should be over by 7 AM. But the decision to postpone had already been made.....

As of right now, the weather forecast for Sunday morning is the same as it was on the 13th! They should have held it yesterday.....

Agreed, and they also could have kept the original date and it would have been just fine. It might still be ok this week, as the forecast constantly adjusts. I never believe it until it's with a day or two.

Looks like decent weather now, and with the Russian GP being so early, one can watch the race and still be at the Chateau by 11. I'll probably be there.
