What’s funny to me here is we are all debating people we do not personally know, nor have relationships with Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We are debating the performances of drivers in a sport we follow. Outside that, we only know what they want to reveal, and some are very discreet about their lives.
I see he was nicely sticked up; but smart enough to see what was going on. Fingers crossed he wipes the floor with Stroll and Vettel for the rest of the year!
Sergio Perez has revealed he only learned he would be leaving Racing Point hours before his exit was announced on Wednesday evening, saying "nobody told me anything". Perez announced via his social media channels on Wednesday that he would be leaving Racing Point at the end of the Formula 1 season after seven years with the Silverstone-based team. Racing Point confirmed on Thursday morning that four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel would be joining in Perez's place for next season, when it will be rebranded as Aston Martin. Perez did hold a valid contract for 2021 with Racing Point after signing a three-year deal last season, and felt secure of his future with the team last month. But Perez revealed that it was only on Wednesday that he received confirmation from Racing Point that he would be leaving during a phone call from team owner Lawrence Stroll, who said the team was going in "another direction". "Nobody told me anything, but I already knew and figured out a couple of things," Perez said. "Final confirmation came yesterday.
So in essence Vettel was whining about how he was treated by Ferrari and Clone Cheat treated Sergio in the same manner. Sorry Seb lol -- Drama queen he is.
Gene Haas: "Perez . . . . meh". Checo: "I have a lot of sponsor money". Gene Haas: "C'mon in amigo!!"

CEO of McLaren Zak Brown says Sergio Perez's exit from Racing Point is unfortunate because the Mexican outperforms Lance Stroll. Perez will no longer be part of the team from next year when Racing Point goes under the Aston Martin name. Brown would have liked to have seen Perez driving for Aston Martin next year: "I think it’s unfortunate that he lost his seat because of the two drivers he’s the higher performing driver. But as we know his father doesn’t own the the racing team so when they wanted to bring in Sebastian Vettel, it was clear that Perez was going to be the guy to go", said Brown to RaceFans.net.
