I agree the 'decor' is definitely of questionable taste, but each to his/her own. 'Barn find' has become an accepted form of description but in my opinion should only mean that it was forgotten, inadvertantly stored or parked for longer than intended in a barn or shed resulting in a level of preservation of condition that might be described as surprising. This one seems to have been parked in the owner's garage and simply fallen into disuse. I bought one of these some time ago 'by accident' and was surprised to find that only 36 RHD series 2 330Gts were built. How many survive I don't know, but this is quite a rarity.
I have records for 25 of the 36 in the last 10 years, so presumably those still exist. 1 of the 11 missing has been reported as Parted Out.
Hi guys, I'm a new member (see my profile) but hoping you can touch base with me. My name is Aaron, I am from Survivor Car Australia magazine. Would love to talk to someone about putting together a story about this incredible barn find Ferrari. Interested in a number of aspects, if able to communicate with the estate/representative. Please contact via my email ([email protected]) where I can provide my mobile number? Thanks in advance, Aaron
I’m interested in more information on the Ferrari 330 gt Located in Australia. Is the car still up for sale ? Or is it going to auction?
I can confirm that the car has been purchased by Sydney based Ferrari collector for his collection. It won't be on-sold.
As the excellent website from Kerry will tell you, the car was born in azurro blue. Not speaking of the interior and the engine bay...

"hasnt been washed for 50 years" pull the other one mate !!!!! ....and those tools are far from original - they may be old but hardly any are correct
original yellow Sidchrome screwdriver original wood gear knob original upholstery No-one has yet noticed the completely incorrect bars front and rear.
Seek an yee shall find. This is a gift that just keep giving. Every time you glance at if you can find another thing that is wrong. What happened to the dash switches? How can you turn on and off all the things that you are supposed to turn on and off. Where did the antenna over the windshield come from? How can you remove the wheel spinors with that object? I am told that modern colleges and universities teach that there is no such thing as objective reality. After looking at the movie about this car it appears that they are correct.
Not only a barn find ;-) but a miracle car. Changes it steering wheel from wood to leather without someone touching it at 5:20 in video...
Gentlemen, none of the discrepancies, inaccuracies, originality (or lack there of) currently on the car doesn’t matter, as it likely will be completely/comprehensively(?) restored, may even receive a factory blessing for the effort and the “barn find” aspect will only be useful(?) for marketing in the future.
