I'm considering oem alcantara floormats. What are your experiences? Is there a difference in durability, are they as easy to clean as regular ones? Or for a short answer; If you have them, would you order them again?

Never had them, but based on what I've read about alcantara, which is just a suede-like polymer blend, I'd be worried about pilling / wear in such a high friction area...T

You should take a look at https://exoticare.ca/

They do custom floor mats. I ordered a set for my last Cali and have a new pair coming in for the Cali T. His work is awesome.

I still have the old ones I need to figure out what to do with. I never got to use them in the old car and now they are just sitting in on my office floor.

My only experience with Alcantara is that it came on the seats of my old Subaru STi. The nap was gone by 30,000 miles where my body was in contact with it,leaving a brown base. I wouldn't want it on an area that is subject to friction.

I too have WeatherTech floor mats, but I drive my Portofino and my GTC4Lusso in the winter and salt in NW Ohio. These cars are amazing in the snow as long as you have Pirelli SotoZeros mounted on your spare set of wheels.

[IMG] I have also enjoyed my custom Alcantera mats from Andrew at Exoticare. I was skeptical about their durability at first but after 14 months and 6K miles they still look like new. Just vacuum them off and use a damp microfiber cloth to bring them back to like new condition. Andrew was awesome to work with too!

I actually have a set if anyone is interested. I bought then for my car but the car was totaled before I used them. Brand new and look awesome.

I ordered Exoticare for my California and I love them. I suggest extending the passenger side up into the firewall for additional carpet protection. They will not extend the driver's side because it could interefer with the pedals. Pick your own materials, stitching colors, and logo designs. I selected his carbon look for heal pad areas, and his beige with red stitching matches my upholstry very closely. Material is easy to clean and beautiful. Andrew will send e-mails with designs to help you decide. He asks customers NOT to post photos of his work on line, as less inspired competitors will steal is designs.

Where can I order these?... I'll be driving mine this winter so some rubber mats would be awesome.
